Meet Mark

Mark grew up in Oregon as an All-State, All-Conference record setting four sport Varsity athlete. He went on to earn a BA degree in Kinesiology/Physical Education at Whitworth University while playing baseball. After graduating from Whitworth Mark went on to sign with the Baltimore Orioles organization as a first baseman. In 1996 Mark and his wife Angie opened Shockman’s Fitness & Batting Cages (previously Shockman’s All About Fitness) providing superior personal training, strength & conditioning and sports instruction. Instructors at Shockman’s Fitness & Batting Cages are all former pros and trainers are all degreed and certified. Mark is a former pro baseball player, Associate MLB scout for Washington Nationals, degreed (BA) and certified master personal trainer, hitting & fielding instructor, and college internship instructor. Prior to opening Shockman’s, Mark designed, initiated and managed the personal training programs at the Spokane Club and Stay Fit Health Clubs. Mark prides himself in providing the highest level of customer satisfaction, ethics and results at All About Fitness.
